Harbor Packaging was started in 1986 as a satellite facility for Northern Indiana Packaging Co. to service the West-Michigan area with corrugated and returnable packaging. The facility operated for 12 years under the NIPAC name as a warehouse, assembly and distribution center.

In 1999, Single Source Packaging, LLC was formed, which included NIPAC and 2 facilities in Ohio, under the investment auspices of Schwarz Partners, LP. The decision was made to expand the Holland center into a full-service facility. Harbor Packaging was officially created in January of 2000, adding equipment and staff. In 2006, Single Source Packaging was changed to Schwarz Partners Packaging,LLC, and now includes additional facilities in the Midwest and Southeast US.

Harbor Packaging has now become a source for a full range of packaging needs, including custom designed containers of corrugated, returnable totes and steel racks, custom designed foam interiors for containers and totes, assembled partitions of corrugated and chip board, and a new line of stock boxes!

Harbor was created and built on the idea of providing service to our customers beyond their expectations. This is done with custom designing systems, JIT programs, quick order turnaround, and the ability to use a variety of materials for engineered packaging systems. We service both large and small markets; from businesses that use packaging only a few times a year to companies that receive truckloads daily.
